Challenge Accepted…

I found myself going through one of our giant cases of movies the other day and pulling out four or five of them that I hadn’t watched in a while.  It was a lazy rainy weekend afternoon so I figured movie marathon woohoo! Well it got me thinking, how fun would it be to re-watch (or in some cases watch for the first time) every single movie that we own!  Yes it is a huge undertaking, and will probably take me until like 2085, but it just sounded like one hell of an entertaining way to pass the time.

So I explained this to my friend, a fellow writer, and she introduced me to the idea of starting my own blog.  Now I’ve been writing fiction for quite a while, in fact the month of November is National Novel Writing Month. I am currently in the middle of my 10th year participating in this wonderful challenge.  She thought it would be hysterical if I wrote a blog post for every single movie that I watched.

I thought…hey what the hell.  Challenge Accepted.

Now we have a wide wide wide range of movies.  I also have two children.  And yes, I included the kids movies in my reviewing list, and yes some of them are quite painful to watch (Barbie Mariposa I’m looking at you!)  Also both my husband and I (as well as my oldest daughter) are HUGE horror movie buffs, so if you like a good scare or are wanting new horror movies to try out this blog could help you out!

So are you ready to join me through the good, the bad, and the ugly of cinema? And PS don’t expect a lot of those boring oft reviewed Oscar worthy movies in here, cause that is not my bag.  But there is a little something for everyone. First up on the docket is Eli Roth’s Cabin Fever.   So grab your popcorn and strap in!
